A Reformation Sunday Celebration

A service of music for chorus and orchestra, celebrating the 500 years since Martin Luther set in motion the Protestant Reformation. Featuring the Moramus Chorale, Drake Flynt, director, with Mary Louise Kapp Peeples, organist, and the Rev. Nola R. Knouse, minister.

Musical selections by Moravian composers will include the oratorio, BUILT ON A ROCK, written by composer, and former Director of the Moravian Music Foundation, Karoly Köpe; the Credo from Missa Brevis by John Mochnick; and music by J. F. Peter, Johannes Herbst, Margaret Leinbach Kolb, Jill Bruckart with an instrumental ensemble of brass and strings.

Congregational hymns arranged for instruments and organ.
