The Endowment Fund of the Moravian Music Foundation is invested and generates income and financial security for the future. The Foundation relies upon donations from Friends to continue the good work of preserving the unique and priceless treasures with which we’ve been entrusted; to enhance the musical life of performers, listeners, congregations, and musicians from around this beautiful and richly diverse musical world; and to celebrate the musical culture of the Moravians through performances, recordings, and Moravian Music Festivals.

The Board of Trustees has set five exciting goals:

1. to expand our relationships with our ecumenical partners;
2. to build international networks of Moravian musicians to share resources and learn from one another;
3. to increase the accessibility of our holdings;
4. to ensure that we are supporting the work of church musicians, scholars, and professional performing musicians alike; and
5. to double the Endowment and the number of Friends Fund donors.

This fifth goal, ambitious as it is, will greatly enhance our ability to carry forth with the first four, as we seek to further our mission of promoting the musical culture of the Moravians – a culture of musical excellence, of wide participation, and of joyful music making for all ages.
