A Reformation Sunday Celebration with the Moramus Chorale

A service of music for chorus and orchestra, celebrating the 500 years since Martin Luther set in motion the Protestant Reformation with his 95 theses. Featuring the Moramus Chorale with an instrumental ensemble of brass and strings, Drake Flynt, director, with Mary Louise Kapp Peeples, organist, and the Rev. Nola R. Knouse, minister. Free; donations accepted.
Musical selections by Moravian composers will include the oratorio, BUILT ON A ROCK, written by composer, and former Director of the Moravian Music Foundation, Karoly Köpe; the Credo from Missa Brevis by John Mochnick; along with the music of J. F. Peter, Johannes Herbst, Margaret Leinbach Kolb, and Jill Bruckart.
Congregational hymns arranged for instruments and organ.
